The Lake
District is a special place. The Miles Without Stiles project aims to
make the Lake District more easily accessible to more of us. Some
people - for example older walkers, the visually impaired, wheelchair
users and families with prams and pushchairs – find it harder than
others to get around our National Park. One way to make this access
easier is to replace the physical barrier of stiles with gates, on
paths that are otherwise easily passable.

You can help fund this initiative by donating £50 and funding the
replacement of one stile with a gate. Remove barriers to countryside
access and help others to appreciate and love our National Park.
